The trip ends at your hotel in Kathmandu The main group fly back to UK
Got up at 6.30 to have a coffee with those who were flying home today, they left for airport at 7. There are 3 others left - 2 going on to Bhutan on separate trips and an American lady leaving later today.
Had breakfast with one of them and arranged to meet again on Thursday before she flies to Bhutan then packed and got a taxi back to The Hub. It felt good to be ‘home’! Got unpacked, did some washing – by hand in cold water on the roof – oh for an automatic washing machine – gave combats & t shirts to the young lad to do as I pay him to do it and its extra income for him.
After checking emails etc went to visit the kids for a couple of hours and pleased to see the 3 older boys who attend a boarding school are home for holidays and that they are all on holiday for a month – whole of the time I’m here.
